E-government and petty corruption in public sector service delivery

The present inquiry addresses the nexus between development of electronic government and corruption in provision public sector services developing transition economies. study analyzes potential contribution combating petty within framework two superimposed principal-agent model show that could potentially limit bureaucratic corruption. To address research question empirically, applies random tobit linear effects panel estimators to a dataset made 121 countries, which covers time period 2008 2018. Estimations reveal adoption delivery has been central factor contributed reduction level per capita income, political rights, civil liberties share natural resources gross exports also correspond with less bribery service delivery. Furthermore, finds lower socio-economic corresponds greater Hence, e-government presents one utmost opportunities for offers solutions improvement efficiency effectiveness administration.
